On Monday, July 17th, MP and leadership candidate Guy Caron will be in Guelph for a meet and greet event at the Red Papaya (in the Quebec St. Mall) at 7pm.
Guy’s campaign has promised to introduce a basic income for all Canadians living below the “low-income cutoff-line”, implement a more progressive tax system, and to make Proportional Representation the number one condition of NDP support in a minority government.
Guy has represented the riding of Rimouski-Neigette-Temiscouata-Les Basques since 2011 and has served as the NDP’s critic for Finance, Industry and Natural Resources since that time. He has worked in the student movement, the labour movement and civil society organizations across the country.
There is no charge for this event, but donations will be accepted.
